A vision quest is a personal search for direction, meaning, purpose and healing in life.  Major life transitions or changing life’s direction are classic times to engage in a vision Quest.  There are three phases to the Vision Quest.  First is preparing one’s self spiritually, mentally and physically.  Second comes the time alone in nature during which it is common, but not necessary, to fast.  The third phase is deciphering the experience and integrating it into one’s life.
